Responses that Warmed my Heart

Priyamvada, Mumbai:
You do not know me. I have not seen you. Still Our Full support and prayer is with you and your family. I thought of contacting to convey our feeling on hearing you in the TV this morning. You are a leader. I remember the famous quote of Jesse Jackson on Leadership, “Leaders must be tough enough to fight, tender enough to cry, human enough to make mistakes, humble enough to admit them, strong enough to absorb the pain, and resilient enough to bounce back and keep on moving”. You are a leader. Keep doing good things.

SAMJI THARIAN, Bahrain:

Self and family very proud of you that you said sorry to V.S for last night’s slip of tongue. We can understand your feelings about your father. May god bless you and your family and wish you all success in your political life. We are all with you..

SIVARAMAN.N.MENON, Ghaziabad, U.P.
By tendering apology on the controversial statement you have upheld your moral responsibility as a legislator. May be it is a slip of the tongue, but everybody knows how much agonized you are. Let thousand dogs bark but the chariot will move on. We are with you.

I am seeing your live telecast now in UAE. It is wonderful. Actually I am one of your fan in your good, public, sudden actions. I am always saying about you that YOU are a man of action. I am also trying to be a man of action. I request you please read about Khalifa Umarul Farooq (r) 2nd Khalifa of Islam. God may bless us.

  1. Dear Ganesh Kumar,

A matured politician as you should have controlled your emotions yesterday at Pathanapuram even though many Keralites strongly feel that it was long due to those politicians frequently resorting to the blackmailing and character assassination of those who are opposed to their political ideologies. Please put a restraint on such words in future. Conscious Keralites are very much aware that the comments at Pathanapuram originated out of your uncontrollable emotions and also perhaps because of your eagerness to please those several hundreds gathered there to listen to you.
Anyway it was good that you have tendered a genuine apology on the whole issue. Those like Pinarayi and other rudderless CPI (M) functionaries who have used even harsher words against elders have absolutely no right to seek either your resignation from the Ministry or apology on the issue.
Please do realize that sensible Keralites are looking forward to you to deliver goods for them and they also have immense faith in your abilities to perform as an intelligent administrator. May God bless you.

  2. Kamini Krishnan says:

While, it surely was not appropriate for Mr. Ganesh Kumar to make such comment on Comrade Achuthanandan, one can understand the circumstances.
Comrade Achuthanandan, has unleashed malignant version of poetic-loose-talk politics in Kerala for a decade now. Where else, will such a thing lead to?
He has perfected a version of:
    making statements, then denying it
Making malignant half statements- pointing to people without naming
Not doing – but always talking about some new subjects
Pity that Kerala led such a politician to the CM’s post

  3. Lyra, Dubai says:

I was always more of an admirer of your charisma and quality of frankness, than a movie fan. You are always found straightforward and from within the heart during interviews. That makes you the real Ganesh Kumar.

Now, if India is a place with freedom of speech why is it not for KB Ganesh Kumar? Didn’t Achuthandan (with all due respect for him) ever make any statements of this kind ever in his political career? Probably Achuthanadan is the only politician, who always keep expressing baseless and offensive comments, majority of the times. Then why all these apology requests and commotions? Again……the tag line is “Freedom of speech and expression” is for all.

Therefore, I have a proverbial wish for you “When the going gets tough, the tough get going”. Good luck.

  4. Krishnan says:

Ganesh thought his dialogue is in cinema. May be he forgot about his position in Kerala government.

  5. Tinu Thankachan says:

Ganeshetta we all can under stand your feelings that came to your mind at the time of delivering that controversial speech. If i would have been in your place i would also have done the same thing……..its natural from a son’s side. He raised his voice against the person who had been torturing his father since many years…….Dont give up Ganeshetta we all are with you…go ahead with your responsibilities which the common man has given to you.

  6. Beena Koshy says:

You are the envy of many.. don’t lose your heart.. You are a smart leader.. go ahead..we are not bothered about your personal life..but we are bothered about YOU. We need people like you.. don’t ever quit…

  7. bhamina says:

respected sir, may be you are not a minister now, but you are still MLA so you can act and make impact on those issues that are corrupted, people is behind you, whatever happened in your personal life is just personal. we are not bothered about that. yes some others are bothered because they have no other job. if you are there they will be not able to achieve what they hoped for.
power is not necessary if people are with you, because its people who gives the power and takes it. so go on – something big is waiting for you.
